Bio
Max Sheridan is the author of the cult novel Dillo (Down and Out Books, 2018) and God’s Speedboat (Outcast Press, 2023), a splatterpunk cannibal bildungsroman. Degenerate editors the world over have published Max’s short stories in genres including, but not limited to, sci-fi, horror, pulp, crime, erotica, western, humor, bizarro, exploitation, WTF, and queer lumberjacking. His next novel, The Big Heat, will hit airport bookshelves in 2025, pending an agent and publisher. He currently works with Argentinian designer/precious metals prospector Tug Wells at Weird Bubba Studios creating digital ephemera for internet speakeasies. You won’t find Max on X, Bluesky, Mastodon (Mastodon!), Threads, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc., or even on Substack, where he has an account. He was born in Belzoni, Mississippi, and lives in Nicosia, Cyprus, on a corner near a very loud church.
